Legal Decription Compare Challenge
You will review 10 legal-description records one at a time. Each record uses a different property and description style — lot-and-block, metes-and-bounds, section-township-range, condominium, and easement legals. Compare the editable extracted text against the scanned source page and manually correct every substantive discrepancy.
Records contain anywhere from zero to five planted discrepancies each, and the count is never announced. At least one record is already 100% accurate — an unnecessary "correction" costs the point just like a missed error. Keep checking after your first find.
Test rules
- The clock begins only when you click Start Test.
- Reviews advance one page at a time. After submission, a review is locked and cannot be revisited.
- No correctness feedback or answer details appear until all 10 reviews are complete.
- Pasting, drag-and-drop, and copying text out of the editor are blocked. Corrections must be typed manually.
- Planted traps include look-alike characters, transposed digits, reversed compass calls, sound-alike words, dropped or doubled words, and punctuation. Numbers, directions, and names are graded exactly like words.
- Correct only the core legal-description block. The scanned page contains other language (recording stamps, document headings, and surrounding clauses) that is not part of the extracted text — do not type or add any of it. Confirm only the legal block the test gives you.
- Line wrapping and spacing are not graded: where lines break and how many spaces sit between words do not matter. Every other character does — words, digits, and punctuation.
- Each perfect review is worth 10%. Any remaining discrepancy — even a single character or unnecessary edit — removes the full 10% for that review.
