Our centralized data exchange empowers our clients, allowing them to connect, transmit, transform, and route data from disparate systems across their company, vendors, and customers.
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: Tampa
Job Type: Hybrid (onsite work required)
Job Classification: Full-Time Exempt
The Job.
What you will do in this position:
- Develop and support Java software in high-traffic transactional online products
- Develop internal and customer-facing web applications
- Write SQL and use ORMs for major relational databases
- Leverage various middleware technologies to create scalable solutions that meet business needs
- Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and join an on-call rotation to respond to system issues outside of regular working hours
- Work with business analysts to define specifications
- Collaborate to produce an effective design and implementation strategy while balancing various constraints
- Use the command line to manage services, check logs, and configure systems in a Linux environment
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams
Qualifications.
Who you are:
- 8 or more years of software development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or directly related experience
- Experience with full project life cycle management in a web environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
